Kaspar Thomas: Passionate, Persistent and Phenomenal

Kaspar Thomas, passionate, persistent, and phenomenal at what he does, has a very inspiring story. Already an established therapist, Kaspar’s journey into natural health and medicine began after overcoming a diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis. Through significant changes in lifestyle and activity, he was able to recover from major illness early in life — an experience that shaped his commitment to helping others achieve the same.
With a solid foundation in manual therapy and several courses already under his belt, Kaspar came across an interview that Dr. Rizwhan gave on the BBC in 2016. (If you want to know more about Dr. Rizwhan’s appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire Show, you can see our article here.)
Inspired by the interview and resonating with the ICAHT approach, Kaspar felt the need to connect with and be mentored by Dr. Rizwhan on wet cupping, scaling and the additional approaches that ICAHT offered. Not long after, he joined the ICAHT Practitioner Certification Programme to expand his expertise. There, he found his own beliefs in complete alignment with the ICAHT model of health management and was impressed by the depth of both theoretical and practical knowledge the course offered.

A Global Vision for Healing

Kaspar loves to travel and over time he has also developed a keen passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. With his professional background and the additional skills gained through ICAHT training, he realised that everywhere he went — irrespective of cultural and language barriers — he could contribute and add value to those around him through manual therapy and touch.
Kaspar describes developing what he calls a “6th sense,” the ability to feel people’s pain and problems without them even telling him. At ICAHT, we call this the art of palpation — and it’s something any practitioner can learn and refine.
His passion for serving others has taken him across the globe. In West Africa, Kaspar offered his services free of charge as a way to give back for the blessings in his life. He has even practiced cupping therapy underwater — a testament to both his adventurous spirit and his dedication to spreading holistic healing wherever he goes. His dream is to take cupping therapy and natural health solutions to communities all around the world.

A Lifelong Learner

Kaspar stands out not only for his skills but also for his mindset. As an already established therapist, he continues to embody the qualities of a lifelong learner — always willing to refine his craft and grow as a Holistic Health Practitioner. His ICAHT training gave him a structured, integrative system to complement his experience, adding another dimension to the work he was already doing with patients.
You can see a short video of Kaspar below, where he talks about his experience as a member of the ICAHT certification programme.
