Kaspar Thomas, Passionate, Persistent and Phenomenal at what he does, has a very inspiring story. His interest in natural health and medicine grew after his own journey overcoming a diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis. After making some significant changes to his lifestyle and activities, Kaspar overcame major illness earlier on his life and always knew that he wanted to help other people do the same in some way shape or form. He went on to practice manual therapy and underwent a few courses before he came across an interview that Dr. Rizwhan did on the BBC in 2016. (If you want to know more about Dr. Rizwhan’s appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire Show, you can see our article here.)
After being inspired by the interview Kaspar knew that he needed to connect with and be mentored by Dr. Rizwhan. It was not long before Kaspar joined the ICAHT practitioner Certification Program. Upon joining the program, Kaspar saw how his own beliefs were in complete alignment to the philosophy and ethos of the ICAHT model of health management. He was blown away by the amount of both theoretical and practical knowledge he was able to gain from the course.
Kaspar loves to travel and over time he has also developed a keen passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. After becoming equipped with the ability to help others through his ICAHT training, he realised that everywhere he went, irrespective of cultural and language barriers he was able to contribute and add value to those around him through manual therapy and touch. He developed what he says is a 6th sense in which he can feel people’s pain and problems without them even telling him. (we call this the art of papation at ICAHT and it’s something you can learn too).
Kaspar has travelled to west Africa where he was provided his services for free as a way to give back for the blessings he receives in life. He said he wishes to take cupping therapy all around the world and has even practiced it under the sea. Kaspar is an exemplary student who is always willing to learn and make himself a better Holistic Health Practitioner. You can see a short video of Kaspar below talking about his experience as a member of the ICAHT certification program.
